Zettelkasten

The Zettelkasten (German for "slip box") is a note-taking method developed by sociologist Niklas Luhmann.

Key Features

  • Each note contains one idea (Atomic Notes)
  • Notes link to each other extensively (Linking)
  • No strict hierarchy - emergence through connections

How It Works
