Eric Meadows-Jonsson f6a2046850 Keep debug info for unicode files 
Dialyzer stops processing when it finds a .beam file without debug info.
Only increases file size with ~120kb in total.

hasufell b0f9d7e9bc MAKE: respect LIBDIR variable 
Some distributions do not use plain "lib", rather "lib64"
and "lib32". Allow to control this variable.

hasufell f9afc520ca MAKE: standardize install variables 
- convert to autotools-like variables commonly used in build scripts
- respect DESTDIR (used for temporary install locations)
- fix symlink logic to work with DESTDIR
${foo##bar} is posix, see:
http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/utilities/V3_chap02.html
under "2.6.2 Parameter Expansion"
- quote all variables that can contain whitespace
(make does not take care of that!)

José Valim 4c5cb1bc7a Set a PROMPT when invoking rebar 
This is a common failure when installing Elixir when
users have Unicode Characters in their PROMPT environment
variable. We have attempted to fix this issue in rebar
but it continues showing up, so we will temporarily set
the prompt ourselves

Alexei Sholik 636275c064 Revert "Make test_doctest target depend on test_ex_unit" 
This reverts commit b2d0355ef9.

Better keep the tests separate as before. It is sufficient to have
ex_unit tests invoked before doctest tests when doing the full `make test`
